Lecturer in Foundation Learning

Up to £35,811 per annum pro rata

14 hours per week (up to 9 teaching hours and 5 preparation and other duties)

Fixed Term until 30th June 2021

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join the Foundation Learning team at Suffolk New College. With a specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN) the successful candidate will have the ability to teach across a range of subjects alongside a thorough understanding and experience of working with young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and a diverse range of learning needs.

Working alongside the Head of Foundation Learning and colleagues within the Foundation Learning team, the post-holder will be pro-actively involved in the day to day planning, teaching, organisation and development of the foundation learning programmes.

You should have a good standard of education including maths and English at level 2 or equivalent, a relevant degree or professional qualification and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencement of employment.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Rural Campus. However Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
