Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School

Salary / Rate: £72.00 per day

Location: Liverpool

A local SEN school in the Liverpool area are looking for an experienced SEN TA who can support a KS1class and support a child on a 1-2-1 who has ASD and SEMH

The school is looking for the teaching Assistant to work with the inclusion team and start to implement a tailored Education healthcare plan and work closely outside agencies including speech and language therapist.

The school has great facilities including sensory and breakout rooms. If you are really want to make a difference then this is the job for you. You will be supported by an experience team who are SEN specialist.

The post will start immediately until end of January. This is a temporary post and will full-time

The school is near all local bus route and has a car-park

Key Responsibilities:
  • As the SEN Teaching Assistant,you will support a child on a 1-2-1 basis
  • You will be supporting the child with their learning and development

Required Skills & Experience:
  • You must have previous experience supporting pupils in a mainstream or SEN school or social care setting supporting children with complex need
  • Previous experience supporting within a school environment in the last 18+ months or similar
  • If you are completing a CACHE course and have completed any volunteering Teaching Assistants posts, this may be a great opportunity
