Learning Support Assistant - Reading Local Authority

Your new school
If successful, you will join a Primary School with a good reputation in Reading as a Learning Support Assistant. The school focuses on the social progression and the happiness of all pupils, as well as the academic progression. You will be required to work on a full-time basis, 5 days per week. Parking is available.

Your new role
As a Learning Support Assistant working in a Primary School, you will be supporting the classroom in setting up activities, encouraging engagement and providing general support. You will be supporting children in small groups focusing on phonics. You will also need to have good communication skills as you will be regularly communicating with children, teachers and parents.

What you'll need to succeed
You should have experience in a classroom setting within the last 2 years. You should feel confident working with children in small groups. You will need to be professional at all times, as well as friendly and enthusiastic. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, children and parents.
