Accounts Payable Manager required for a long term interim opportunity.

My client is a leading West Midlands based business

Description

You will be responsible for;
  • Driving the performance of a large AP team, including goal setting, performance measurement, appraisals and training
  • Responsibility for managing AP across multiple ledgers and ensuring full maintenance of supplier accounts
  • Working closely with the FD to deliver process improvements and efficiencies within the department
  • Developing appropriate controls over the end to end AP process
  • Managing the AP Helpdesk, ensuring an exceptionally high level of service
  • Responsibility for employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policy

Profile

To be considered for this role you will have;
  • Extensive multi-site experience
  • Substantial Accounts Payable management and managerial experience is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar AP leadership role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Excel skills specifically pivot tables, lookups and IF/SUMIF formulas
  • Proven ability of working to a high standard while multi-tasking
  • Import experience
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills are required
