We are seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to fulfil a SATS booster role to assist the pupils with the learning in core subjects in the build up to SATS. This post is temporary and ongoing and for 2 afternoons per week, to be confirmed.

Start date: ASAP and ongoing for 2 afternoons a week. Flexibility required.

Location: Burnley

Do you have previous experience in teaching Upper KS2?

Do you have a strong understanding of the the Maths and English Year 6 curriculum?

If you answered yes to the above, then this Year 6 Teacher role is for you!

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering Year 6 interventions on a 1 to 1 or small group basis
  • Year 6 booster sessions in Maths and English

Person specification:
  • Must have UK QTS
  • English and Maths strengths
  • Upper KS2 experience
  • Committed to furthering the children's learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection

  • A teaching qualification
  • UK QTS status
