An exceptional secondary school based in Birmingham is working in partnership with Celsian Education, seeking an experienced and qualified Economics teacher.

Starting January 2021, we require an exceptional classroom practitioner with the passion and experience of teaching Economics to A level. You will be joining a friendly staff team with highly ambitious students who are impeccably behaved

We are keen to attract an outstanding teacher with high standards who will contribute to the continued improvement in attainment and standards at this OUTSTANDING Ofsted rated secondary school.

Requirements:
  • Secondary Teacher of Economics KS5
  • Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
  • Have QTS or QTLS and are registered with either IfL or The Education & Training Foundation.
  • Be an inspirational role model; committed to their own learning and that of others
  • Have a positive mind-set and a desire to develop the whole person
  • Be committed to improving the life-chances of young people
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their subject that is infectious
