We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Manager Ageing Well for a well-known local Authority in Nottingham. This is a Temporary Full-time role, initially for the next 5 months.

The Role

Your role will be to provide leadership to the development and delivery of Ageing Well hospital and community-based assessment and care management services that support older people. Ensuring services meet corporate and departmental objectives whilst delivering high quality outcomes to people who use services, their carers and the wider population.

Duties

Must have strong cultural, service and performance change experience within older adults

Leading and managing the Ageing Well Community Locality Teams

Be the operational lead for working with local partners in your area, including Health and District Councils on the further development of local integrated care teams linked to Primary Care Networks and place-based working.

Developing and managing our response to living and working with Covid-19

Taking forward savings programmes, with a focus on embedding strength-based practice and processes to reduce the number of inappropriate days older adults spend in residential care.

Active engagement in the embedding of the Owning and driving performance programme, creating the right values, behaviours, skills, knowledge, and processes to take appropriate ownership of performance that achieves deliver of our priority.

Supporting resilience and well-being in your workforce, creating a culture of self-care for ourselves and our staff

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Group Manager, working as an operational management level for Older Adults equivalent of Head of Service.
  • Performance management must have demonstrable experience of developing team managers and addressing concerns.
  • Relationship and stakeholder engagement with all the third parties, making sure the team develop relationships.
  • Be a positive inspiring leader, who can focus on strength-based performance with regards to transformation.
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Full UK Driving Licence, and access to a Vehicle
  • Excellent people skills, being able to talk to the public, clients, and other senior professionals.
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, and be HCPC / Social Work England Registered
