Are you looking for hands on experience in a variety of schools before committing to a full time role?

This academic year, have you so far struggled to gain a permanent teaching position?

Academics are a leading national education agency that specialises in the recruitment of permanent, long term, and daily supply teachers/support staff.

Unfortunately, due to these uncertain times, Academics realises that sadly teaching placements may have ended suddenly and that Newly Qualified Teachers would have qualified sooner than expected. However Academics are here to help if you are unsure on what to do next! At the moment our work is predominantly day to day supply and short (with the potential of long) term contracts in our partnership primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.

Essential attributes required from a Primary Newly Qualified Teacher:
  • Having a can-do, positive, and confident attitude.
  • Knowing the practices and values of successful learning and teaching in the classroom.
  • Being able to establish routines and disciplinary strategies by following the schools own policies.
  • A good team player so that you are able to work closely with fellow staff members and ultimately can maximise students learning together.
