A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Administrator to work for a highly respected and well-established Housing Association in West Didsbury. This role is available on a full-time temporary basis for 12 months.

What’s my role?

The Property Administrator will provide an efficient and effective administrative service within the Plumlife Management Team and promote a positive image of the Association to all its customers

Duties:
  • To prepare letters, reports, minutes of meetings, statistics and other documents using various information technology packages.
  • To maintain and update filing and information systems and records in the office.
  • To accept and deal with telephone calls, emails and contacts via other mediums such as social media for housing management and maintenance issues.
  • Maintain appropriate comprehensive records of residents to ensure an effective housing service.
  • To deal with general rent and service charge enquiries including setting up direct debits and taking card payments.
  • Generate payment demands / invoices for customers
  • To collect rent within the office and carry out the banking.
  • To work collaboratively with Property Income Manager in order to assist in the collection of low level arrears.
  • To receive and deal with repair requests, including raising works orders, liaising with contractors, progressing works and processing of invoices.

You will need:
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Effective liaison with staff/other stakeholders
  • Able to deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Housing Experience
  • Experience of diagnosing and ordering repairs
