The Company

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join a successful construction business on a fixed term contract, approx min 6 months. Please note due to the location, own transport is essential.

The Role

A busy role where many hats are to be worn! You must have experience working within a Quality role and be confident to come in and hit the ground running. There is an exceptionally well organised admin system already in place, so you are able to find what you need quickly!

Main responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing for the ISO 9001 audit, due early 2021.
  • All ISO updates, document submission and admin. (All policies are written, you will manage and update as necessary.)
  • All Quality Control documents, updates etc.
  • Looking after all accreditation admin, including renewals, and submitting new documents.
  • Distribution and collection of customer/supplier questionnaires.
  • All insurance administration: certificates, renewals, claims etc.
  • Management of all training and CSSC cards, accreditations.
  • Point of contact for maintenance and facilities - booking suppliers/admin etc.
  • PQQ- ensure all tender forms are submitted within timeframe.
  • Be confident to stand as the UK Representative for ISO.

About You

This is an urgent requirement so we are looking for someone who has the relevant experience and skillset to step into this role unsupervised.
  • Proven experience within a Quality role.
  • Excellent communicator; confident to liaise with people of all levels.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Exceptional admin and organisation skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Be willing to commit to this role long term - possibility of a permanent contract.
  • Have access to your own transport, due to the location of the office.
  • An advantage if you are available to interview and start at short notice.
