Principal Resourcing are currently seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of Health & Social Care for a post in Leeds. The role is to cover a maternity leave and is due to run from January until Summer 2021.

The school based in Roundhay works with KS3, 4 and 5 students. It promotes excellence in terms of examination results, extra-curricular activity and behaviour. They are looking for an inspiring Teacher to join their committed team. The successful candidate will be teaching KS4 and KS5 students, so it is essential to have the ability to deliver Health & Social Care to KS5. They will also be responsible for a Year 10 form class.

Within the role you are required to:
  • Plan and deliver high standards of teaching and learning outcomes
  • Teach up to KS5 Health & Social Care
  • Engage even the most reluctant of learners
  • Offer extra-curricular activities to complement the curriculum

What you require:
  • A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A relevant BA/MA degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject
  • Previous experience of teaching to KS5
