Principal Resourcing are currently working in an exclusive partnership with a secondary school in Bradford to appoint a female PE teacher. The role is due to commence after the Christmas holidays and will run throughout the Spring term.

The school is a larger than average 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with a buzzing atmosphere and a strong reputation within the area. They are seeking someone passionate, motivational and organised to join their team.

The role will include teaching both male and female PE at KS3, KS4 and KS5. The successful candidate will be someone who actively involves themselves with the life of the school, running extra-curricular clubs and activities for students of all abilities.

Please be aware that this particular role involves monitoring the female changing room, so it is a female teacher that is required. However, if you are a male PE teacher please do still get in touch as we have plenty of alternative opportunities available.

Within the role you are required to:
  • Plan and deliver high standards of teaching and learning outcomes
  • Teach up to KS5 Physical Education
  • Engage even the most reluctant of learners
  • Offer extra-curricular activities to complement the curriculum

What you require:
  • A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A relevant BA/MA degree in Physical Education or a related subject
  • Previous experience of teaching to KS5
