We have an exciting outreach role for an energetic male support worker to work with an adult male with Austism, Aspergers, Tourettes syndrome and dyspraxia.

He enjoys going out in the community and taking part in activities such as horse riding, cycling and swimming and wants to maintain his usual routines despite Covid 19. When accessing the community he needs to be supervised when crossing the road to make sure he is safe. You will need to feel comfortable with loneworking.

You will need to have 6 months’ care experience working with a range of clients.

This will be a temporary position paying £10.75 per hour. Weekday and weekend hours available and shifts available over the Christmas period. Hours will vary.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Loneworking
  • Helping the client to become independent.
  • Keeping records
  • Engaging the client in activities in the community, such as cycling and horse riding
  • Inspire and encourage clients engage in all aspects of daily living
