Actual salary £11,846.63 - £14,398.03

HSDC is seeking an experienced teaching professional to deliver exceptional teaching and learning across the Childcare and Health & Social Care curriculum at their Alton Campus.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate designated study programme delivery activities for the College, including delivery of high-quality teaching, responsibility for day to day operational issues, assessment & exams, ensuring a consistent approach is maintained. The successful candidate will be able to inspire and motivate students through outstanding teaching and learning that stretches and challenges students to be the best they can be. Lecturers should be passionate about their area of teaching and be enthusiastic about developing their students' English, Maths and other employability skills. All of this will be underpinned by regular target setting and progress monitoring to ensure that all students reach successful outcomes.

You will undertake teaching duties in Childcare and Health & Social Care across Levels 2 & 3. Courses could include CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner; Level 2 Cambridge Technical Diploma in Health and Social Care and BTEC Extended Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development

The successful candidate will be working towards or have relevant qualifications and work experience, ideally current, in the subject area. You will be an enthusiastic team member who is flexible and willing to work under pressure and have a desire for passing on skills, knowledge and vocational experience in a rewarding education environment. The post will also include course management responsibilities.

Childcare NVQ experience is desirable.
