Do you have the desire to help change lives and an interest in mental health?

Response provides a range of support to people that experience severe and enduring mental health needs, and we are recruiting a Homecare Coordinator to join our Homecare team in Oxford. This is a full-time role, 37 hours a week that covers shifts from Monday-Sunday, varied hours. The role will be to support individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs to live their lives in a positive way and assist them to improve their physical and mental well-being and promote and encourage as much independence as possible.

You will have a duty of care to safeguard and protect vulnerable residents/potential residents and manage crisis situations when required and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and carers. You will take part in the on-call rota and be seen as a mentor for new staff and assist in the shadowing process. You will regularly quality check files in our service users homes. You will be able to use your initiative and demonstrate your leadership skills to ensure that residents are empowered and supported to work towards their life goals and independence.

Access to your own vehicle â€" along with a full driving license â€" would be great. You will need previous experience in care, top-notch communication and organisational skills, as well as knowing your way around a computer and relevant software packages.
