Pegasus Primary school is a 210 place primary school catering for pupils aged 5-11! Located within the area of Castle Vale to the North of the city the school embody their ethos of Strength through diversity, ambition through challenge and excellence through curiosity. They aim to inspire a desire for deep learning of knowledge and skills through the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum. The school were last inspected by Ofsted and were given a rating of RI. This was in essence due to changes in Leadership that were implemented in April 2019 when the new Head Teacher joined the school with her impact now starting to show! They are well into their journey towards becoming a "Good" or "Outstanding" school and offer new employees the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of their pupils.

Pegasus Primary school as part of the trust are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start within the school immediately for a long-term position. The role will be a part-time position morning only and will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in reception. As part of the role, you will be required to undertake personal care and so the ideal individual will be comfortable in doing so. The position is ideal for an individual who has extensive experience of supporting individuals with varying special educational needs and understands how to differentiate your support to ensure the requirements are adhered to.

The position will commence immediately, 5 mornings a week and is a long-term position that could potentially run for the remainder of the academic year for the right individual.
