Principal for Standard and Practice in Children’s Community Health Services

We have a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished community health leader to join this West Country Local Authority. You will be at the heart of improving health and well-being and tackling inequality for children, young people and their families. Achieving our vision of 'one children’s service, consistently good every day and onwards to outstanding’ requires outstanding leadership. We have a strong foundation for you to build on; following significant investment in Children’s Services that has supported significant improvement. Our hard work was endorsed by Ofsted Good rating for our Children’s Services July 2019. We now need a talented Principal for Standards and Practice to ensure we build on this momentum. You will bring an in depth knowledge and experience of community health services, to lead and manage the service development across all health services provided by the Local Authority. The role requires a standout candidate with dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills and a proven capacity and ability to work across the multidisciplinary spectrum at both strategic and operational levels.
