Aston Education is working with a Secondary Special School near Dudley in West Midlands looking for a full-time English Teacher with QTS/QTLS.
You will teach English to KS3 and GSCE.
This is a school for 11-16-year-old students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH) and the school has been assessed Good by Ofsted.
The overall aim is to raise students’ self-esteem so that they can return to mainstream provision where applicable or enter society with qualifications.

- Have experience of delivering English to GCSE level
- Flexibility to teach other subjects for KS3 and KS4
- Experience teaching students with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Calm, patient and caring attitude with a good sense of humour
- Good communication skills
- Passion to make a positive difference
- Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
