We have the opportunity to recruit an experienced KS2 teacher, who would be interested in part time working hours (5 afternoon a week) to cover PPA across Yr3, 4, 5 & 6.
Do you have experience of teaching across all year groups KS2?
Are you passionate about topic subjects ie art, music, forest schools?
Can we tempt you with a post in a large, community school in central Blackburn and help us to provide a positive learning experience for their children?

The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner
Be able to work closely with the substantive teacher of the class
Have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritising and managing time effectively
Have knowledge of current educational issues and the National Curriculum
Have the ability to implement successful strategy in order to raise attainment and make rapid progress
Have teaching skills which have already led to learners making good progress in KS2 during a teaching career
Teach engaging and motivating lessons in a stimulating environment
Be committed to the development of self through appropriate CPD

Essential requirements
Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the following:
The importance of positive mental health of learners
Effective behaviour management strategies
Experience of Vulnerable pupils, SEND/ inclusion
