Location: Main Base - Apsley, Hemel Hempstead
Salary Range: M4 £46,845 - £49,866pa pro rata for part-time
Hours: 18.5 hours per week/Job Share
Contract: Permanent

Job Duties:

Dacorum Extended Involvement Team, Herts Valleys Older People & Sensory Services, Adult Care Services

As Team Manager you will lead, manage and motivate a Team of highly professional Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Officers providing services through Hertfordshire’s Connected Lives assessment framework delivering personalised and outcome focused care to Older People. You will require excellent leadership, management and negotiation skills and be highly motivated to drive and manage change as well as having relevant experience of working with partners to develop integrated services.

You must hold a professional relevant qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy and be registered.

We are looking for managers with experience of supervising and performance managing frontline social care staff with a working knowledge of Continuing Healthcare, relevant legislation and Safeguarding practice.

You will monitor and control the use of budget, resources and approve care packages in line with the Scheme of Delegated Authority and ensure team members adhere to the County Council’s financial standards, policies and procedures.
