Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit the next generation of teachers. Are you a recent university graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching? Are you wanting to gain more experience in a classroom environment before starting a PGCE?

Prospero Teaching are working with a number of Secondary Schools across North Hampshire, with a range of opportunies available working as either a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor. This is on both a Part time and Full time basis, and to start immediately.

Opportunities are available for Schools in Basingstoke, Hook, Alton, Farnborough, Aldershot, Andover and Winchester.

The ideal candidate will be innovative, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people.

As a new member of staff, you will be given support and time to adapt to the school and the pupils, so you can grow in confidence and see how the school operates.

The successful candidate would need to be confident in a classroom & previous experience working with children would be advantageous.

**Minimum rate of pay - £65-£100

**Hours - 8.30am - 3.30pm

Experience, training, and qualification:

** Relevant undergraduate or post graduate degree in curriculum-based subjects.

** Strong ability to lead a class or a group of students

** Good communication skills with students, co-works & heads of department

** Calming manner in challenging situations.

** Strong behaviour management skills

** Driven to motivate the pupil and aid them across the curriculum

** Be self-reflective, have a willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative.

** Going the extra mile for the students, becoming involved with other opportunities at the school

** Willing to complete Safeguarding online training.

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

** Hold right to work in the UK

** Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

** Provide two professional child related references
