Title: Software Development Lecturer

Role: Full time, temporary

Salary: £22.41 - £25 per hour including holiday pay

Location: South Yorkshire

Our REED Further Education branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the South Yorkshire.

The college are looking for a Software Development Lecturer to join a highly driven, creative, Digital and Creative Industries department who are a team of curriculum specialists.

The Role:
  • To support the delivery of both Work-Based Learning and provide T Level specialist skills within Programming/Software/Development (including Object Orientated Programming and Mobile Applications).
  • Will include delivery across Level 1-3 Software Development Technician and Software Development.

What do you need to meet the criteria?
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an occupational area or Level 4 qualification in related field
  • Level 4 teaching qualification e.g. CTLLS (or willingness to work towards)
  • Level 2/GCSE maths and English qualifications (C or above)
  • At least 2 years’ work experience in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of python and minimum of two other languages.
