Hays Healthare have an unmissable temporary role within a busy and established NHS Trust based in London. We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to start immediately - Working hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm- ASAP start - Ongoing Contract- Monday to Friday- Hourly rate of £27
Your new role
- You will provide care to service users to prevent escalation of their health and/or social care needs at a Primary Care level, thereby reducing the need for them to access Secondary Care services.
- Where appropriate you will work at the Primary/Secondary care interface to facilitate movement of service users between Primary and Secondary care services.
- The caseload involves both OT-specific (40%) and generic working (60%). The generic element of the role includes providing mental health assessments and offer short-term interventions to support this client group.
- The post holder will actively contribute to formulating a joint care-plan with our CCT colleagues. You will also act as a contact point and provide a link/liaison role to GP practices.
What you'll need to succeed
- HCPC registration-
- 6 months NHS experience minimum-
- Right to Work in the UK
