About the school;

The Education Specialists are recruiting for a "Good" SEND Primary School based in Liverpool. This is a popular choice of school with parents saying that they " cannot praise the school enough". This school offers so much more than its broad curriculum, it has a focus on employability that meets the individual needs in achieving success after students have left school. If successful you will be joining a thriving school community that has adapted well to the new restrictions school are working under. The school hosts virtual class disco’s and is planning a virtual Christmas Fayre, so the students are looking for someone creative and fun to help them enjoy their time at school.

About the role;

The school is currently in need of a number of SEND teachers who can support students with a variety of SEND needs, experience of teaching students with ASC would be advantageous. The right teacher will be comfortable working across Key Stage 3 and 4. Many of the students at this school have medical needs and require personal care due to their needs. Manual Handling training would be provided onsite. Your lessons should be well differentiated to meet the needs of all the students within the class. A broad curriculum is offered at this school, encouraging students to participate in all lessons. You should be a creative and compassionate person who is keen to join an active school community.

The role is for an immediate start and is full-time Monday to Friday term-time only.

  • Experience of teaching SEND students in a school setting
  • Sense of humour and fun, professionalism and a good sickness record
  • Experience of planning differentiated
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingly to obtain one through ourselves
