We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful online retailer, based on the outskirts of Grantham. This is an impressive, successful business, selling an extensive range of products to businesses across the UK on a next day delivery service.

It is a dynamic company which continuously strives to be best in class and operates to very high standards. Reporting to the Sales Planning Supervisor and working in a small team in an open plan office, you will be expected to thrive in a fast paced working environment whilst continually multitasking, taking calls and order processing. This role would suit someone who likes building relationships and has proven experience in a clerical environment. This is a unique opportunity to work for a small family ran business who values each and every one of their employees as individuals.

Main responsibilities:
  • Receiving incoming calls from customers to discuss:
  • Quotes
  • Sales Enquiries
  • Stock available
  • Deliveries
  • Correspondence to customers via email
  • High volume processing of orders and adding on any amendments to orders
  • Point of contact for compliant handling
  • All areas of Customer Service and Administration; scanning, electronic filling, photocopying

  • Full conversant with all Microsoft Office packages
  • GCSE C grade or above in English and Maths
  • Minimum 1 years customer service Customer Service skills in an office environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience of working in a fast paced office environment

  • Hours of working: 9.00 - 5.30pm 1 hour lunch.
  • Holidays 20 days plus Bank Holidays increasing after 2 years of service by 1 additional holiday day per year up to a maximum of 25.
