Hays are working in partnership with a Secondary school near to Loughborough who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 3 and 4 supporting students with SEN needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. This is a full time ongoing role to start as soon as possible.
Your new role
In this role, you will be required to support students who are struggling to engage and displaying behavioural difficulties. You will build and maintain positive relationships with students to encourage learning and development. You will model and promote appropriate behaviour around school and challenge any behaviour that is not deemed to be appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role, you will have experience of working with children and young people in some capacity such as a school, residential care, youth club or sports club. You will have an interest in working with challenging, vulnerable or at risk young people and be passionate about making a difference. You will also be able to work as part of a team to best meet the needs of the students.
