St Joseph's Hospice was founded in 1905 by the Religious Sisters of Charity and as such it has a rich, Catholic heritage which informs our work today: to support and welcome those in need, from all different cultures, religions and backgrounds.

We provide high quality specialist palliative care for patients with cancer and other life-threatening conditions across East and North London. We have a large team of clinical staff who work across community, in-patient and out-patient services delivering individualised, responsive and holistic support to patients and their families/carers.

We are seeking a part-time major donor fundraising lead to develop our new major donor programme. Building on our work with an external consultancy to identify major donor potential within our supporter base, The purpose of this role will be to build relationships with a small pool of high value givers through regular calls, face to face meetings and appropriate fundraising asks.

You will need:
  • Three years’ experience working with high net worth individuals
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage own workload
