Do you have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to support pupils at a school in Trafford.
You will be working with pupils between the ages of 2 and 11 with learning difficulties and additional
complex needs such as autism, physical or sensory impairments, down syndrome and developmental
delay. The school works within a multi- professional team including speech therapists,
physiotherapists, occupational therapists, professional musicians, artists and sports leaders. The
school has some fantastic facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, softplay room, sensory room, and
fabulous outdoor learning spaces.

The responsibilities of this role are:
 Supporting pupils on a one to one basis or in small groups
 Setting up the classroom for that days activities
 Gathering materials needed for lessons
 Helping with pupils additional needs (e.g. feeding, toileting)

The requirements for this role are:
 Experience working with Special Educational Needs pupils
 A DBS on the update service
 A dedication to helping pupils reach their full potential
 Being an empathetic and resilient individual
