Teaching Assistants - Birmingham

Your new company

Due to new available funding for primary schools we have had an increase in the requirement of teaching assistants across our partnership schools in North Birmingham. You will have the opportunity to work with credible Ofsted 'good' and 'outstanding' schools where you can build a lifelong career.

Your new role

The primary teaching assistant roles vary from general classroom teaching assistants supporting year groups from EYFS through to KS2, 1:1 SEND teaching assistants working with individual pupils to provide support for particular needs and HLTA roles leading booster groups to assist with children's progression.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will need to hold relevant qualifications to support children in a primary school, be a good team player, have a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum and have good behaviour management skills.

In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references and you must be available until at least the end of the academic year.

What you'll get in return

Here at Hays we offer several benefits:
You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience.
You will accrue holiday pay with the option to take it at any point of the year.
You will receive free, up to date safeguarding training.
You will also have a consultant available to you who will support you throughout your role.

Also there are opportunities to earn £250 in vouchers when you refer a friend to Hays.
