Intervention/Booster teachers needed in Walsall

Hays Education are seeking Intervention/Booster Class Teachers for Primary Schools in Walsall to start ASAP.

Hays Education, we have been experiencing increased demand for teachers for intervention/booster classes teaching both KS1 and KS2, due to the break from schooling caused by Covid-19. There are a number of roles available in primary schools, including both short-term and long-term assignments.

This type of role will typically involve teaching a small class of fewer than 10 pupils that are currently falling behind. These roles can be part-time or full-time and can be short-term or long-term roles. You will typically have a LSA in the classroom with you, as some of the children may have SEN.

In order for us to consider you for these intervention/booster class teacher roles, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Have confidence/experience teaching KS1/KS2 pupils
  • Have worked in a school within the last 2 years

You will need to be:

  • Motivated, passionate and resilient
  • Willing to encourage and support struggling pupils
  • Capable of working as part of a team
