Salary banding â€" Full Time - £30,433 - £33,115 per annum (salary would be pro rata for fractional hours)

We are looking to recruit outstanding Lecturer/s in Engineering, if you have a genuine passion for engineering, are relentless in your pursuit of quality and want to help shape both the current and future workforce, then we want to hear from you!

We invite applications for qualified lecturers or industry experts from the following sectors; Manufacturing, Design, Aeronautical, Rail and Electronics who are qualified in the following area,

- Manufacturing Engineering

The following skills and experience will be advantageous milling; turning; fitting; fabrication.

- Electrical & Electronic Engineering

The following skills and experience will be advantageous;

Industrial systems; Industrial power, electronics and storage; Digital Principles; Electrical and Electronic Principles. Experience in undertaking circuit design, simulation, build, testing and fault finding; Application of engineering maths and principles. Knowledge of Matlab and National Instruments software.

- Mechanical Engineering.

The following skills and experience will be advantageous;

CAD; Design; Maths. Solid modelling, product design, application of engineering maths and principles.

The successful candidate/s would be required to teach on a range of Engineering programmes at Level 2, 3, 4 within the classroom and in the workshop. You will be delivering a range of apprenticeship programmes, full time level 2 and 3, and HNC/D.

We offer a structured induction programme for those new to teaching, you will be paired with an experienced mentor and start on a reduced teaching timetable, gradually increasing as your experience and skills strengthen. You will gain broad experience in a teaching environment from enrolment, SAR process to results day. You will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of departments at the College. In additional to this we will offer you in depth coaching and the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification.
