The Faculty of Service Industries are looking to appoint new part time members of staff in the School of Health and Education. This is an outstanding area of the College and the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate inspirational teaching and learning and have up to date knowledge and experience within the Health and Social Care sector.

Health and Social Care is a growth area within the College, and we offer BTEC/CACHE full-time courses in Health and Social Care ranging from Levels 1 to 3 across both the Abingdon and Witney sites. We will also be involved in delivering the new T-Level qualifications to commence September 2021.

You will be committed to inspiring and motivating students and be a team player with excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and optimistic and always looking for the best from our students, whilst also continuously working on your own professional development and growth.

Successful candidates will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care along with a recognised teaching qualification. Alternatively we will also consider experienced candidates direct from industry, who can inspire young people, sharing your knowledge and expertise with our students inspiring them for future career development. If you are motivated to gain your teaching qualifications, we can offer excellent training and support you in gaining your AET Level 3 Qualification (Education & Training Qualification), within your first year of joining the College.

In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits including generous pension and holiday schemes, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, and a cycle/tech scheme.
