Temporary Financial Accountant - Remote Working from home - Competitive rate

This is a great opportunity for a technical fully qualified Financial Accountant with a proven track record in to work for a great organisation as a temporary Statutory Accountant.

The Role

• Undertaking preparation of statutory accounts for Ireland and some UK entities,
• Assisting with the preparation of consolidated UK group accounts
• Providing information to auditors and responding to their queries.
• Completion of various ONS surveys
• Providing monthly audit and tax accruals along with detailed quarterly analysis of the P&L
• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for tax accounts
• Carry out bank approvals
• Providing current guidance on tax (particularly VAT) to various members of the business (finance and non-finance) on a timely basis and improving accounting and reporting for those items.
• Tax returns and filing including VAT, Intrastat,
• Working closely with the management and finance team
• Preparing information for external tax advisers for Transfer Pricing and Corporation Tax.
• Preparing tax computations and UK group relief and interest restrictions for budget, forecast, and year to date internal reporting,
• Ad hoc queries for various aspects of tax from finance and non-finance teams
• Some adhoc project work
• Liaison with external tax advisers

• The Ideal Candidate
• The Financial Accountant will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA from practice or have recently worked in a technical job within industry
• Good Attention to deal
• Strong on excel and systems
