Management Accountant

Walters People are recruiting on behalf of a well known large organisation in South Manchester who are looking to add a Management Accountant on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Produce monthly management accounts and post all necessary journals.
  
• Maintenance of full monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
  
• Variance analysis.
  
• Budgeting and forecasting.
  
• Accurate and timely production of forecasts and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  
• Ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support Finance Team, decision making and monitoring of financial performance
  
• Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc projects.
  

Key skills required are;

• Part qualified accountant studying towards a professional qualification.
• Experience using an ERP system (desirable)
• Ambitious individual, appetite to qualify and progress accountancy career
• Ability to business partner and engage with non-finance stakeholders
• Excellent Excel skills
