We are currently working with a client based in Braintree that requires a part time administrative assistant and support worker. The lady that requires the support worker is blind and therefore will need someone to help with day to day administrative duties around 20 hours a week.

The lady you will be supporting needs someone who is able to communicate effectively, work well as a team, and have a good sense of humour!

You must be a driver due to travelling to a few different sites but also flexible on the hours that you do work as this may vary from time to time.

Duties include:
  • To drive to different sites across Mid Essex to complete regular stock takes to ensure the companies orders are accurate.
  • To find and count consumables at each site.
  • Process information onto company spreadsheets for all sites across Mid Essex. .
  • Quarterly audits
  • To give support and guidance to Procurement Administrator where tasks may be difficult due to loss of sight - this may include proof reading, assisting guiding curser, accessing websites etc on her behalf.
  • Support with cross referencing documents with invoicing.

You must:
  • Be immediately available
  • Able to be flexible on working hours and days
  • Be confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Be friendly with a good sense of humour!
