Support Workers Halifax - Agency, temporary - Learning difficulties and Disabilities

DMD Recruitment are an independent recruitment agency based in Greater Manchester specialising in Health and Social Care.

We have a thriving health care provision and we are proud to be recruiting for several support workers for a dedicated service based in central Halifax supporting two services were they support adults with learning difficulties, and some disabilities.

We are looking for part time agency staff to cover shifts on a ADHOC basis to fit in around your own personal plans

possible permanent placements to the staff that fit this service.

(Shift example - 8am -8pm4pm -9pm 10am-10pm

Qualities and duties required:

• Confident and have experience in working with and adults that will need 1-1 support
• confident in personnel care of clients.
• Capable of adapting to different situations
• Planning and participating in outdoor and community activities
• Be empathetic and supportive
• Hold good personal values and want to become part of a committed team
• Have a sense of humour and be a team player, willing to get stuck in

Experience in a similar role is essential,

Pay rate will be determined by experience and qualification - competetive.
