Job Title: Assessor in Plastering

Hours: 13 hours per week 52 weeks per year

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £8,153.32 - £10,229.15

This part time position offers the right candidate the flexibility to choose what days they work, ideally these hours will be split over 3 days, but you can choose if appropriate what days you work. This would be an ideal position for someone who has retired or for someone who wants flexibility and security of a guaranteed income.

The Plastering Assessor is responsible to the Managing Director for providing high quality support to the Sector to enable the College to meet the below broad objectives. Team working and communications within an overall approach that values people will be of key importance.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To coordinate and manage learning across a variety of courses
  • To recruit and select appropriate candidates
  • To carry out assessments within the workplace
  • To carry out one to one supportive meetings and apprentice reviews with candidates
  • To liaise with employers and bring in new students.
  • Monitor and record candidate’s progression
  • To develop course material as appropriate
  • Support the student in the workplace and / or in the classroom
