Payroll Technician

Reed are currently recruiting for an experience Payroll Technician to join a large, public sector organisation based within Preston for a period of 9-12 months.

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you must have previous payroll experience as duties will include -

• Providing technical advice and guidance at all levels relating to payroll queries and associated administrative functions
• Providing support, advice and data to senior Managers on complex pay related issues
• Supporting the Pay and Pensions Manager with managing the Pay Services team
• Supporting the Pay and Pensions Manager by liaising with external service providers in relation to pay and pensions provisions, including the management and development of the payroll system
• Maintaining the Child Care Voucher system
• Any other ad hoc duties

This is a fantastic opportunity with a well respected organisation. The position is full time, 37 hours per week and the salary is £29000 - £30000 and is based in Preston with free on site parking.
