Are you a Learning Support Assistant with experience working with some challenging behaviour?

Do you have a degree in a core subject that you could use in a secondary school based setting?

Have you worked in a school based setting, working with different ages and abilities, aiding their learning and development?

Our client school are working to recruit a full time Learning Support Assistant with immediate effect. They have this excellent position available to work with small groups of learners, most of whom have some behaviour difficulties, so it's essential that you have previous behaviour management experience.

Based in Seaford, this school is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away from the train station and easily accessible via car. It's a large secondary school, with an excellent Senior Leadership Team who enjoy promoting from within and working to develop their staff.

This is a really exciting and varied role and will give you a chance to boost your own school based experience.

Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details

Location - Seaford

Position - Learning Support Assistants

Full-time potential

Minimum rate of pay - £65 per day

Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

You must have a degree of 2:1 or higher and have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people

Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.

Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

Provide two professional child related references.
