Job Title: Care Administrator x 3

Pay: £11.08/hr

Job Type: Temporary

Duration: minimum 6 weeks (likely to be longer)

Care Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join a hardworking and dedicated Care Team in York to provide support and high-quality administration and secretarial service to the Manager and key staff within the Care service.

The Care Administrator will be involved in the following:
  • Supporting data management on the HR system, including sickness absence and annual leave.
  • Supporting the site with effective rota management.
  • Raising PO’s using the electronic system and ensuring compliance with organisation processes.
  • Managing delivery of goods and processing Goods Received notes.
  • Monitoring and reporting of faults and repairs.
  • General administration duties including: typing, filing, creating new resident files, diary management (including staff and residents) and producing meeting minutes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the site, answering telephone enquiries, dealing with issues/queries from residents and staff and signposting as and when required.
  • Assist with social activities and trips as and when required.
  • Provide high quality administrative support and reception duties, if required.
  • Cash handling, including recording all daily cash transactions ensuring cash is collected, stored in line with policy.

The successful Care Administrator will have the following:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience of delivering quality written and oral communication to a wide-ranging audience.
  • Effective and confident customer care skills.
  • Good Interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people at all levels.
  • PREVIOUS STRONG BACKGROUND IN ADMIN. (please do not apply unless you have this)
