A primary school in Accrington are looking for a PPA teacher to cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The Head Teacher is looking for a primary practitioner who is happy to teach across all year groups with consistent behaviour management. You would be teaching foundation subjects including Art, Geography, History, PE and R.E. With the PPA role, you would receive the long-term planning prior to starting in September.

You would be covering a gap in staffing and the role would be to start on Monday 12th April 2021 until Tuesday 20th July 2021. The Head Teacher has expressed the possibility of a permanent contract being offered to the suitable candidate in the next academic year. Whilst you cover PPA in the classrooms there is a full-time teaching assistant who is familiar with the class and the daily routines. Being familiar with the EYFS Framework, Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum is essential. This teaching position offers candidates the scope to develop their career and gain further experience working across all year groups. The school are interested to meet with both NQTs and experienced teachers for this role.

Normally the Head Teacher gives Teaching Personnel the opportunity to arrange a school visits for suitable candidates. With the current school closures this is not possible to arrange however we can arrange a phone call with the Head Teacher for you to discuss the role. Teaching Personnel are in regular contact with the school and the interview arrangements are to be confirmed.
