TimePlan Education are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to work in a small primary SEMH school based in West London. The role is a long-term, full-time opportunity to commence after February half-term. The candidate will be responsible for one-to-one learning support, mentoring, progress coaching, behaviour reports and positive encouragement. The pupils have emotional and behavioural difficulties, meaning that the ideal candidate will be able to support them emotionally and socially, as well as with their academics. Candidates must be resilient and will need to be excellent with behaviour management.

Job Responsibilities
- Supporting primary pupils 1:1 who exhibit challenging behaviour (SEMH difficulties)
- Ability to engage and support pupils with their learning
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Supervising and monitoring pupils' behaviour
- Progress coaching and one-to-one sessions
- Liaising with staff and parents

Job Requirements
- Available full-time (5 days a week) and committed to their job
- Ability to stay calm and de-escalate challenging behaviour
- Ability to empathise with the needs of each individual pupil
- Experience working in a mainstream or SEND school environment
- Experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable
- Valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
