Macildowie is pleased to be working with a NHS Commissioning Support Unit as they look to hire an experienced Continuing Healthcare Nurse Assessor on a temporary basis. This role is an urgent requirement therefore, if you have the right experience you should be able to start at fairly short notice.

Reporting directly to the Clinical Team Lead, you will have responsibilities outlined here:

* Facilitate multi-disciplinary assessments and patient reviews
* Support line managers with workstream planning ensuring successful delivery
* Ensure services are delivered to maximise patient safety and within guidelines
* Ensure systems are accurately updated and maintained
* Investigate where appropriate, to check eligibility for Continuing Healthcare
* Support delivery of healthy budgets

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

* Hold a registered Nursing qualification and registered with NMC
* Experience of working in a similar role ideally Continuing Healthcare
* Able to make recommendations on difficult issues
* Solution focused and strategic thinker
* Professional and calm approach
* Experienced in evaluating and measuring performance of health services
* Ability to work alongside medical colleagues at all levels
* Aware of Caldicott principle and information governance
* Strong communicator and team player
