My client, a UK based manufacturing business with an illustrious history and global footprint, are recruiting for an Interim M&A Finance Director on a six months contract.

The role will support the CEO, Group Financial Controller and Regional MDs in the development and execution of an M&A strategy.

Location: South Birmingham

Contract length: 6 months

Candidate Rate: £500-600 per day

Start Date: Mid February

Key Responsibilities of the Interim M&A Finance Director
  • Support CEO in the development of business plan, financial forecasts and investment models pre and post deal
  • Aid in the identification of potential new business ventures
  • Act as lead on due diligence and advisory queries relating to finance
  • Business partner with senior level stakeholders including the Board
  • Produce models and reports on asset valuations
  • Develop workbook and post acquisition purchase and accounting processes
  • Integrate new business and project manage any relevant relocation or carve outs

Essential Requirements
  • Fully qualified in either ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Prior experience of leading on M&A and working within a manufacturing environment
