Our client, a Local Authority based within the London area, is seeking an interim Child Protection Social Worker for its Children’s Services.

Rate of pay is £35ph (umbrella).

The role will involve the following:

• Using the Signs of Safety practice model â€" training will be provided

• Managing children’s cases in the respective team or service area

• Coordinating and implementing plans based on updated assessments

• Working in partnership with the family and professional network

• Chairing meetings such as core groups, CIN reviews and care planning reviews

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker

• Social Work England registered

• Must have experience of managing a busy court team

• Ability to prioritise work

• Understand and implement a performance and quality framework

• Participate in reflective and group supervision
