The Education Specialists are acting as a recruitment business, recruiting on behalf of a Primary School based in the Oldham Education Authority. The school are looking for KS2 Primary Class Teacher to start as soon as they re-open after lockdown.

Applicant requirements:
  • Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status, have experience teaching in UK primary schools.
  • All applicants will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure registered with the online update service or be willing to purchase one.
  • The school will consider Newly Qualified Teachers.
  • Has knowledge of effective strategies to raise attainment and progress & can work well as part of a team.
  • Is creative and constantly looking for ways to engage and inspire children.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum for KS2.
  • Has good organisational and classroom management skills.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for:
  • Delivering of engaging lessons.
  • Assessment of pupils.
  • Providing feedback to parents and building positive relationships with parents.
  • Direction of teaching assistants/learning support.
  • Classroom / Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures.

Details of the role:
  • This role commences as soon as possible.
  • This role is full time, Mon - Fri.
  • The salary for this role is based on the teacher pay scale grading from M1 £23,720 up to UPS 3 £39,406.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to safeguarding and vetting checks.
