Our client is urgently seeking an experienced and professional Office Administrator, to join their team and support the demands of their busy workshop, as well as assisting the company Directors throughout the growth of the business.
As the initial point of contact for customers visiting the showroom and telephoning in, it is essential that you can provide a high level of customer service and have an approachable manor.

You will need to be a friendly and approachable person with excellent communication skills. As you will be working within a small team, it is essential that you are a good team player.
You must be able to tactfully handle complaints as well as manage workload.

This is a Temporary to Permanent vacancy, and if proving successful, this role could develop into a senior position, holding greater responsibility.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm
Pay per hour: £9.50

Responsibilities will include:
  • All general office administration and reception duties
  • Act as first point of contact for all visitors to site
  • Deal with all incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers
  • Ensuring the showroom and front desk is well-maintained and presentable
  • Maintaining the office space and equipment. Printers, basic IT etc.
  • Monitor the central inbox and deal with all incoming queries to then direct to relevant persons
  • Ensure jobs are created and progressed accordingly
  • Receiving job orders and liaising with teams to co-ordinate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-priority clients i.e. Learning their requirements
  • Collating information for job folders, ensuring all relevant paperwork for each project is in order and up to date
  • Preparing and sending quotations
  • Check invoices received and ensure they accurately match purchase orders
  • Authorisation of invoices
  • Process payments within deadlines
  • Deal with invoice queries

Previous experience in a similar role within the fabrication/engineering industry, whilst not essential, would be a distinct advantage.
