Maths Tutor
Exciting opportunity for Maths specialist to join successful school and facilitating the learning of young people
We are working in partnership with our client secondary school in Oldham who have an upcoming gap for a Maths Tutor to join them and provide Mathematics intervention to small groups of students.
The position will entail providing tuition and intervention to a selection of the current Year 9 and 10 cohort in the run up to their GCSEs next year with the aim of raising attainment and closing the gap.
The work as a Maths Tutor will be instrumental in providing support to the Mathematics faculty as they strive to achieve excellent results.
The school is a large, modern secondary school which is situated on the border of Manchester and Oldham. The school currently has over 1600 students on roll aged 11 â€" 16, and is supported by a successful academy trust with a track record of delivering the very best for their students. Since the school moved to a new site, there has been an influx of new students and the majority of Key Stage 3 is now oversubscribed and firmly places this as the school of choice in the local community.
Though this position is initially able to be started online, applicants MUST be able to travel to Oldham as when lockdown finishes the school want the successful Maths tutor to be working in school with the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

- Deliver Maths sessions in small group settings, including 1-2-1
- Reduced responsibility in terms of planning and marking
- Full time position, with flexibility in number of days/hours for most suitable applicant
- Earn £15 to £30 per hour, dependant on experience and workload
