The Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary / Rate: £60.00 - £70.00 per day on experience

Location: Sheffield

Summary

We know these are challenging times for both schools and students right now. We’re working in partnership with a number of schools in the Sheffield area who are already preparing for reopening, and expecting to need additional support alongside their class teachers, or supervise whole classes to cover absences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising students with work left by the class teacher
  • Assist in preparing the learning environment and the materials used
  • Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive working environment in line with school policies

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Ideally you will be degree qualified
  • Experience of working with children is essential, either in a school setting or in an extra-curricular role, e.g. sports coach, youth work
  • Be a confident communicator able to work using your own initiative
  • Enthusiasm and a positive outlook is a must
