Your new company
My client is looking for a PA for an ongoing temporary assignment supporting the administration and effective running of the Board and Sub Committees.

Your new role
  • To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support the Boards and sub-committees operate efficiently and effectively in conjunction with the Director of Emergency and Urgent Care and members of the Urgent Care Team. This includes preparing the agenda, co-ordination of reports and producing accurate minutes.
  • To prioritise, supervise and manage the administration of the Boards and sub- committees often within tight timescales, prioritising tasks in line with the objectives given and the requirements of the situation, ensuring deadlines are met demonstrating flexibility and adjustability where required.
  • The provide further functions as the expert resource and first point of contact and ongoing liaison for all internal and external parties on matters relating to Urgent Care
  • to support the Urgent Care programme of work and provide project support that directly support the urgent priorities, helping service improvement development strategies within available resources
  • To create action logs arising from Board and sub-committee meetings and ensure appropriate progress and reporting of developments.
  • To brief the Chair of each meeting, preparing and ensuring that they have the correct information for each meeting.
  • The post holder is a key member of the team and is required to take a proactive approach in ensuring the work of the Boards and sub-committees is effective and efficient.
  • The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
  • Plans, supports, and monitors progress of programmes within or across sites
  • Motivational skills to encourage collaborative working to improve services where there may be resistance to change.
  • Builds alliances and relationships with numerous stakeholders including clinicians, local providers, Local Authority, third sector, private sector, and community groups.
  • Support project teams and programmes of work within the organisation and across organisational boundaries using approved project management methodologies


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a proven PA that has worked confidently at this level, is able to take minutes.
